There might be a few reasons you were charged after redeeming a gift:

• You chose a renewal plan, entered a valid credit card, and used up all of your gift tokens, so we renewed you for the first month of your paying Allurial membership.
• You shipped add-ons and either selected to pay for them using cash instead of tokens, or you did not have enough gift tokens to pay for the number of add-ons you shipped.
• You redeemed a gift, but you are an existing Allurial member, so you were still charged for your typical membership on your renewal date even though new gift tokens were added to your account. If you want, you can skip your existing Allurial membership.
